To celebrate Book Week our whole school will be participating in an excursion to the Cassowary Coast Regional Council Library in Innisfail on Wednesday 21th August and you are invited to join us. Students will be transported by bus from Silkwood State School to Innisfail accompanied by school staff.
The Cassowary Coast Regional Council Library is an amazing service that is free for adults and children to access. Students need a parent signature to become a member and get a library card so that they can borrow books. We would love to see as many of our families as possible using this fabulous resource.
Parents are welcome to meet us at the library to join our tour. Permission forms will be sent home soon.
