Silkwood State School along with our P&C Association, host various community events throughout the year in our undercover multi-purpose area. These include sports events, concerts, award ceremonies, discos and fundraising events. Community groups such as our own Giggly friends Playgroup, other primary schools and fitness groups all use our undercover multi-purpose area for their activities.
When not required for school purposes, our undercover multi-purpose area can be available for community use, provided written permission and a Hire Agreement has been sought.
We recognise this area as a valuable community resource which can be available for appropriate community use, and we encourage you to contact the school to obtain further information on Hire Agreements.
