Our school tuckshop runs every Thursday and provides our students with affordable and nutritious lunches. The tuckshop is operated by our P&C Association and our menu has been designed to meet the requirements in accordance with Smart choices - healthy food and drink supply strategy for Queensland schools (PDF, 9.9MB) . The menu changes twice a year and offers a range of fresh seasonal hot and cold options, as well as over the counter sales on drinks and healthy snacks.
How to place an order
Ordering is be completed using a traditional paper bag.
Clearly write your child's name and class, the items required and price of each, total cost of the order and whether it is required for first or second lunch on a paper bag.
Place the correct amount of money (if possible) in the bag and fold the top over. Do not use sticky tape or staples.
Your child then places the paper bag with their order and money into the tuckshop box.
If ordering items for both first and second lunch, please note that separate bags are required for each.
Volunteers are a vital part of the tuckshop service and regular volunteer support helps the tuckshop run smoothly. Volunteering in the tuckshop is a great way to get involved with your child's school and meet new friends. You will gain food handling experience, and of course your child will love to see you working at school.
Volunteer hours and duties are flexible. You may wish to help out every week, or perhaps you can only stay up until first lunch, or it might suit you better to pop in for a short time in the morning to assist with preparation. Any help you are able to give would be appreciated. Please leave your contact details with the school office.
