Athletics Day - Barnard V's Ellison
Dear Parents and caregivers,
At 8:45am teachers will mark their roll and students will assemble in the undercover eating area. The march past and war cries will begin at 9:00am. Students will be allowed to compete in events with bare feet, with the exception of shot put for the 9-12 yr olds. Please ensure your child has a hat and water bottle, these will stay with the students for the full day.
Please note packed home lunches will stay in your child's school bags all day and not in a fridge.
Let's have a great day filled with plenty of cheers and support for the students. We will also hold our most popular adult tug-o-war, ball games and toddler run throughout the day.
Please be aware that:
- Asthmatics must have their inhaler on hand at all times
- All students must have a hat & water bottle and 9 -12 year old students must wear closed-in shoes for shot put competition
- Jewellery should not be worn during any school sport
- School sport age is determined by year of birth (eg: born any time during 2014 = 12 years old in 2026)
