Silkwood State School is committed to providing a safe, respectful and disciplined learning environment for all students, staff, parents and visitors.
Student code of conduct
The Student Code of Conduct clearly sets out expectations about staff responsibilities to support students to understand and meet discipline expectations of the school, and guidance on the application, where required, of disciplinary consequences.
Its purpose is to facilitate high standards of behaviour from all in the school community, ensuring learning and teaching in our school is prioritised, where all students are able to experience success and staff enjoy a safe workplace.
Parent and Community Code of Conduct
The Parent and Community Code of Conduct describes the ways in which parents, carers and visitors should conduct themselves while on Queensland state school grounds, at school activities, and when interacting with others in the school community.
It sits alongside the Student Code of Conduct and the Code of Conduct for the Queensland Public Service (for staff).
These Codes have been reviewed by our school community and has the support of our P&C.
